BedBug Treatment

Bedbugs may enter your home undetected through luggage, clothing, used beds and couches, and other items. Their flattened bodies make it possible for them to fit into tight spaces.

Bedbugs are active mainly at night and usually bite people while they are sleeping. They feed by piercing skin and withdrawing blood through an elongated beak.

The bugs feed from three to ten minutes to become engorged and then crawl away unnoticed. They cause painful bites, skin rashes, and sleepless nights.

Common types in India

  • Cimex lectularius - The common bed bug, found in homes, hotels, and hostels.
  • Cimex hemipterus - Tropical bed bug species, more common in warm and humid regions of India.
  • Bat Bugs - Closely related to bed bugs, usually found in places with bats but can bite humans.
  • Leptocimex boueti - Rare in India but found in some tropical regions, can infest bedding and walls.
Bed bugs cause severe discomfort through painful bites, allergic reactions, and sleep disturbances, leading to stress and anxiety.
